After Sunrise

After Sunrise was painted after my morning walk on the Boardwalk in Deal, Kent. I had gotten up for sunrise but the sun was "stolen by the clouds in France" as one of my friend's describes it. There is often a haze on the horizon in the mornings here. With less air travel over the last 12 months the "haze" is less frequent these days. It often has a beautiful peachy glow.

The sea is soft on days like this.
