The Big Calm - East Kent Open Houses
The Big Calm brings together paintings, sculpture and jewellery by Stephanie Fuller, alongside paintings by Maria Underwood, for East Kent Open Houses 2026.
The exhibition explores landscape, memory, colour, nature and moments of stillness. Stephanie’s recent work includes large oil paintings, sculpture and handmade jewellery, all connected by a shared feeling for colour, reflection, water, landscape and the natural world.
Maria brings her own distinctive approach to painting and observation, creating a dialogue between two artists responding to beauty, calm and the world around them.
Together, the exhibition reflects a shared interest in finding moments of quiet, feeling and meaning in an increasingly busy world.
Open Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 October, and Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 October, 10am to 5pm.
Drinks launch Saturday 17 October, 3pm to 5pm.
