Figurative Sculpture

The human and animal figure has remained a constant throughout my sculptural practice from mythological subjects and portraiture to horses and whales, these works are united by a fascination with gesture, balance and presence.

Carved, modelled or developed through a combination of processes, each sculpture seeks an expressive form rather than a literal likeness. Working across bronze, stone, resin, and mixed materials, I explore the figure as a way of giving form to memory, movement, and imagination.
