Stone Arabesque
23 × 15 × 15 cm
River pebbles, gold-gilt stones, resin base
Stone Arabesque is a meditation on movement and stillness — a dance translated into stone. The ring’s rhythm recalls an arabesque gesture, poised between gravity and grace. Each pebble, smoothed by centuries of water, carries its own quiet history, yet together they form a fluid and almost musical composition.
The golden foundation stones suggest the warmth of sunlight or ancient treasure, anchoring the form, while the deep sapphire resin base evokes the meeting of water and sky. The piece speaks to the harmony between the earthly and the transcendent: the grounded and the aspirational, the weight of time and the lift of spirit.
In Stone Arabesque, movement becomes form, and form becomes a trace of something eternal, a choreography of the natural world made visible.
