Wire Basket Bouquet

Wire Basket Bouquet by Stephanie Fuller celebrates nature’s abundance while reflecting on the changing seasons and the passage of time. Flowers in full bloom mingle with autumn leaves, bringing together the vitality of growth and the beauty of change.

Against a vibrant orange background, dahlias, poppies and blue cornflowers spill from a delicate sea-green wire basket. Trailing nasturtium leaves soften its structure, creating a meeting of the wild and the refined. Expressive pastel marks and vivid colour give the arrangement a sense of energy, while the autumn foliage reminds us that this moment of fullness is fleeting.

A floral still life that invites us to pause and appreciate nature’s richness, both in its flourishing and its transitions.

Pastel on Fabriano cold-pressed watercolour paper, 2023.
50 × 70 cm. Framed.
