Just as in this Poem by Rabindranath Tagore [1861-1941] who is considered the greatest writer in modern Indian literature. The kiss in the clouds is used as a metaphor for the search for love. After a love lost a new love is found, deeper for the storms the heart has been through in the past. This is a complicated love after decades of a life fully lived. More than 2,000 ships are believed to have been wrecked upon the Goodwin Sands out in front of the town where I live. The few miles between the sands and the coast is used as a safe anchorage and a refuge from bad weather. I wake early to walk on the seafront and experience the clouds and sunrise out to sea over the Goodwin Sands. Look really close and see what you think is...
