This is one of the sunflowers I grew at my sculpture park. Many years later I painted a giant sunflower. I still own this painting unlike most of my older works.I’ve been inspired by flowers since my first visit to the @the_rhs Chelsea Flower Show 30 years ago. Many years ago I stood on a bare sheep paddock and thought “you know what I could turn this into a sculpture park!” And within a few years we did.
